Austin Aughinbaugh first began by making a name for himself in the BMX scene. However, before his BMX career could take off, he was quickly picked up by Abercrombie and Fitch for a modelling job. From there, his career truly began to unfold. Augie gathered all his available camera equipment at the time, and headed straight to New York City to begin a vlogging channel.
Augie consistently updates his YouTube channel with a plethora of new content, each and every day. One day, it can be a video on a topic discussing what is BMX and the next day; urban exploration of New York City. Augie is constantly on the move; travelling throughout the different areas that make up the city of New York. As such, there will always be new and updated content on his channel.

You can expect a wide array of content on his Youtube page. I think that is what is helping his channel grow at a steady pace. It’s important as a creator to always having new, exciting and intriguing content. He is an influential content maker in my eyes because he does what he wants to do and doesn’t follow the current trends of filmmaking or photography. Each video that he posts is entirely different from the previous one.
Austin isn’t afraid to push the limits and take risks to get amazing clips for his videos. Taking risks helps keep the attention of the viewer because sometimes you just don’t know what to expect.
It’s good to hear there’s content creators out there who are talking about just one sole topic online. Sure you have your bread and butter topics, but variety is the spice of life as they say. You can’t be talking about the same dang thing all the time.
Something I can learn from for sure.
Good job!
